I’m a little further west of OG, but I saw plenty last weekend. Tons of woodies and teal in the freshwater marsh. South we have greys and teal.

You aint lying. Rivers that are usually ~10 feet deep with islands in the middle that stay islands all year that you can walk out to, and all the creeks and smaller bayous just dry. Never seen that in those spots. We need rain bad.

I can drive my truck up to my wood duck blind from last year. Usually I would ride a 4 wheeler to about 200 yds away and wade in.

Lots of teal for sure and a huge concentration of coot, already. Saw some early ringnecks and a pile of grays as well.

My duck spot is about ankle deep now. If we get an east wind for a couple days before the opener, that hole will be knee deep even without rain. We’ll see.

Nice. May have to get back there this year. I've taken a couple years break from OG and focused on the big ducks in the salt. Those have been terrible..lol

Not up here it wasn't. Never seen or heard of the lack of water they have around here.
MS is as low as it's ever been here.

I can tell you they are thick right now is Salt Lake City. Shot four this morning with three of them being species I've never shot before back home in Louisiana.
