If that's the case, do you think Jimbo gets the axe this season or does he have a couple more left til' they get tired of his arse? Idk what direction the Ags would go after they axe him either, that opening would be a big job

There is no way he is fired this year.

He just had the top recruiting class and a huge extension.

He could lose out and still get another year. I think worst case for him is losing season this and next and maybe he gets fired. But then he gets to get fired and still get 80+ million. A nice worst case scenario

Would depend on who is available to replace him. A ateady downward trend for 2 years is what got Sumlin fired, and that's exactly where we are with Jimbo. But if there's nobody great attainable this year, sitting tight another year might be the best option.

Would also depend on the players. If they're committed to A&M under Jimbo, I think there's a good chance he gets another year. If they start jumping ship, I think there's much more likelihood of a change being made to stop the bleeding.
