I was on first delta flight out of Baton Rouge about 15 years ago with about 10 WWE wrestlers.

I picked up on it when the guy in front of me was one of the biggest humans I ever saw. When he turned around and I saw his face-- Kane. Stacey Kiebler, Test, Christian were there, too, and bunch of undercard schlubs. Kane and Stacey were in first class. Coach for the rest.

I saw Jamie Dixon, TCU head basketball coach, get on my flight this summer. Homeboy was flying economy class too; no Teedy treatment for him.

Similar story for me, except I was waiting to board a flight out of Lafayette and Big Show sat across from me. An old couple sitting next to him started talking to him, they asked if he played football because he was so big
He was really nice and started talking to us about wrestling, all the travel, etc. Friendly as could be.

The only celebrity I recognized on a flight was John McLaughlin during the heyday of The McLaughlin Group. He was walking through MSY with an assistant and said he had to get his niece (maybe granddaughter?) a souvenir and they went into a store. I thought that was nice.

A coworker was convinced that she was sitting next to Penn Gillette. She finally got up the courage to ask why he was going to N.O. and he said it was for a convention. She asked if it was a magic convention, like she was so sly and figured out who he was but wasn’t going to announce it. The guy said “No” - it wasn’t Penn Gillette - and he avoided talking to her for the rest of the flight.

I’ve also spent the day and had lunch with Capt Lee from Below Deck, picked him up from the airport and drove him around all day, had lunch, drinks and dropped him off back at the airport.
I normally would not care but I would fangirl out on this.

Brandon something who played for the Patriots was my customer once. My husband had to tell me who he was

I've flown with Johnny "Guitar" Watson a year before he died.

Kimberly Caldwell finalist on American Idol Season 2. I didn't know who she was other than some hot girl in the DFW airport and was excited she was on my flight. When I saw her in First Class I figured she was some what famous.

Since I don't watch American Idol I had no clue who she was until we landed at MSY and I read her name on the Limo driver's car.

Vinny Testaverde from San Diego to IAH. I didn’t recognize him but I thought he might e one of the Brady boys. The guy sitting next to me knew him and told me who he was.

Michael Johnson from DFW to San Fran. I knew who he was immediately.

I did see the same picture on Kiran's FB Page.

I think the only celebrities I've been on a flight with were:
1) In 2006 during football season I was boarding a flight from PNS to somewhere and saw Jim Haslett and family. He saw my Saints shirt and just looked away. He was several rows behind me and we never spoke.
2) Jackie Slater sat next to me between SNA and PHX. Had an awesome convo about football and sports in general. Super nice guy.

I sat next to Kelly Price on an MSY to ATL flight after Essence Fest a few years ago. About half of the people boarding the flight stopped to tell her how they were big fans, so I eventually had to ask “are you some kind of entertainer” like the middle aged white man I am.

She took way too many selfies in a one hour flight, so I’m sure I exist somewhere on her social media.

Oh, and my grandma once sat next to OJ Simpson. That’s a way cooler story.

I was on a flight with Billy Idol once. He lent his guitar to a guy and he sang a song to some other dudes fiancé. It was all very weird.

Flew with Jerry Clower from Atlanta to Jackson one night. Hard not to know wh he was. Our flight was three hours late leaving Atlanta (Nelson Mandellla was in Atlanta. Jerry made an absolute arse out of himself with complaints, cursing, stomping around, and demanding Delta let him know what was going on, because he was "You guy's number one customer!" His complaints lasted all the way from Atlanta to Jackson. I was happy when he walked out the door away from our group of tired travelers in Jackson that night.

Looked across from my seat in the departure lounge in New York one night and saw. Kate Jackson seated beside a Delta employee, keeping folks away from her. She had on a pair of slacks and a thin man's shirt that showed quite a bit of what I considered to be a very lovely lady back in those days. There was a little girl (maybe 10 or 12 years old) three places down from where I was seated, who was so excited and kept talking to her mother about the "Charlie's Angels Lady" Lady. After a while, Kate got up and went over and sat beside the girl and talked to her until the flight began to board - for maybe 15 minutes. I thought it was a classy move by a classy lady. They boarded first class first and she disappeared. I got one last glance as I walked past her to the peasants and cickens section. They wisked her away in Atlanta.

I actually flew in the first class seat beside Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) from Boston to LA, ne night. She was one of the nicest people I have ever flown beside. Talked almost all the way across. Was interested in me and my job (QA Drug and Medical Device avendor auditor). Turned out her husband was a director in a oontact lens company, so she knew a lot about the business. She had some of the most beautiful eyes I have even seen.

Flew from Jackson to Chicago one morning on the plane with Andre The Giant - Professional Wrestler. He had been in Jackson having knee surgery at Mississippi Sports Medicine. I saw him just inside the airport door in the main lobby. He was talking to a little black kid, who was about three feet tall. Beside Andre, the difference in Body size was amazing. The kid was with two very old people (Grandparents?), who had a tiny Kodak Instamatic camera. They asked to get a photo and Andre somehow got on his knee beside the kid for the photo. I could tell he was in some kind of pain, but he never hesitated. He really had problems getting back to his feet after they got their shot. When I boarded, he was seated stretched out across two first class seats. As I walked past him, he looked up at me and, I said, "You were so nice to that kid who wanted a photo at the ticket counter." He just smiled. Like Kate, he was gone when I exited the jet in Chicago.

Flew from Jackson to dallas and then Denver with Terry Bradshaw. Terry was in first class and the other football announcer guys were in coach. As soon as the plane got in the air, Terry left first class and came back to chat with his friends. He also worked the entire coach compartment, shaking hands and talking to folks. After he shook my hand, he turned to the other side of the isle. His left hand was on my arm est and I saw he was wearing one of those $5.00 plastic digital watches you could buy at the cash register at KMart back then. When we got to denver, we were all down in luggage claim and our group (3 of us) got our golf clubs before Terry and his buddies got their clubs. Terry faked being pissed off like a great actor. He asked where we were playing (Estes Park) and then said he would be on the course long before we made it over to Estes and he saw no reason why his clubs didn't come off before ours. He was laughing the wle time, so I know he wasn't serious.

I guess those are the only folks I recognized in the years I flew for work.

I was in line at IAH Terminal B Starbucks behind Herm Edwards a couple years ago. He didn't look like he wanted to talk to anyone so I didn't bug him. Also met Mark Henry from WWE at IAH. Extremely nice guy.
