Based on the #8 ranking for team talent. LSU has 5-5*’s and 33- 4*’s. UT talent is ranked #19 this year with 2- 5’s and 24-4*’s.

UT got lucky. QB coach wanted and started was a bust and QB that was the backup hit lightning in a bottle. We have our great QB who wanted to redshirt as a true freshman. Wait until next year

What is Tenn competing for? Their 2 “big” wins are against LSU and Florida who both are in rebuilding mode under new head coaches and coaching staff. Florida could have beaten them. Then they had a bye week before playing LSU.
Let’s see how they do against Bama and UGA before claiming they are “competing”. Do you think they win the East? Did you expect LSU to win the West this year or next year?

Didn’t think I’d be agreeing with a Tennessee fan, but our fans are clueless and sucking down large amounts of copium. There is no reason for us to get embarrassed the way we did today. The coaching staff is accepting mediocrity and figured this year was a throwaway and that mentality has leaked down to the players.

in modern college football, they should not be any 3+ year rebuilds with the transfer portal.
