Then why is Tennessee, who has less talent than LSU, competing in year two?

I completely understand this year being a rebuilding year. But there is 0 excuses to competing next season

Tenn has a topnotch qb and plenty of offensive talent. We do not.

Tennessee hasn't played a full schedule yet. Probably a 9-3/ 10-2 team.

Based on what? We have one above average position group on offense and the best one at the position drops 2 a game. The defense might have one or two all-conference level players but there's no Devin White or DBU lineage level guy.

Tennessee went 7-5 and lost to Purdue in their bowl game last year. fricking Purdue. Why don't you people wait until at least year two or, dare I say, let this fricking season play out before you tar and feather Kelly. Jesus Christ my two year old has more patience.

Because a great QB hides a lot of your warts. They were 7-6 last year in year 1 in a weak SEC east.

Did you check out last year? I did and I know that most all of those guys left the program!

Most of the talent on this team came from the portal.

247 recruiting rankings will tell you that John Emery and Noah Cain are great RBs. The years of them playing say something different.
