Notre Dame under Brian Kelly had some of the ugliest uniforms I have ever seen. BK has proven that he isn't afraid to take risks with uniforms. But Notre Dame was dealing with Adidias and Under Armor.
I guess my point is BK had no problem trying out weird stuff with what is probably the most traditional, classic, and instantly recognizable uniform in college football. One of the most recognizable uniforms in all of sports. I don't see why he would have any problem letting Nike do crazy stuff with LSU's classic look. But hey, they say the youngsters dig it. Whatever it takes I guess. But man, LSU's uniforms don't need to be tinkered with at all. I hope BK doesn't get sick with it. He's fashion forward SOB.

Since Florida State is home team they can chose to wear white jerseys so LSU would be forced to wear purple.

Love the traditional looks but some of the alternates look great too. As long as the result is a W it doen't matter much.

LSU has been very consistent in uniform selection for the past 20 years.
LSU has only worn purple jerseys if the 3 requirements below are met:
the game is at home
against a non P5 team
not the home opener
For all other games, LSU wears traditional white jerseys with gold helmet and pants.
The only exceptions are the alternate uniforms they've worn just a few times.
maybe BK is purposely changing it up?
