If you look in the history books we were the big deal. We had the best players pre 1980. It’s evident by the amount of players we had drafted and the amount of Hall of fame players we all have. Until 1995 Grambling had more players in the NFL than any other school.

All the RV lots are sold out. SU has about 250-300 at every home game.

FWIW…..the SWAC is the #1 attendance Conference in the FCS. And it’s kinda not close.

It's the jaguar nation that's driving up the demand for those tickets. I've been saying for months LSU/southern will be hardest LSU ticket all season. Jag nation will show up and represent.

I never drive over from Houston to see the non conference games vs FCS schools and give my tickets away. For Southern, I'm bringing the RV and am looking forward to the game and even more to see their band march in Tiger Stadium.
My Aggie friends and relatives said they had more fun at halftime when Prairie View drove the 40 minutes over to College Station. The normally stuffy military band fans were cheering on Prairie View's band. They said it was a lot of fun.
I always complained when Alleva started making the visiting bands play after the Tiger Band, but this may be one game where our band needs to have a good halftime show and then get the heck out of the way for the Human Jukebox... and please, NO joint songs with the 2 bands...
