Not sure why, but I watched clips of the Bama game from last year and the play that stands out to me is with 6:51 to go and 4th and goal on the Bama 8, Johnson (after holding the ball way too long on the prior play where his fumble was overturned) misses Trey Palmer coming out of his cut on a skinny post. By the time he sees him, it's too late and of course, he "sailed it". Woulda, coulda and shoulda been the go-ahead score. I know he had his "moments" for LSU, but if Johnson lights it up at A&M, I'll be shocked.

Johnson won’t play at A&M unless it’s garbage time or something has gone terribly wrong for them

Max is going to start for A&M then by the time conference play hits, he’s benched. He is not competent enough to run Jimbo’s style of offense that involves a ton of presnap.

Max would have been much better suited in Leach or Kiffin offenses. Max isn’t pro style.

Yes we would've won that game against Alabama with better qb play. Max will be fine wherever he goes, he has the IT factor and his dad won a super bowl

This was his major problem. His vision was terrible or he didn’t go through his progressions. I know I’ve seen videos on YouTube pointing out that wide open receivers not being seen was a very common occurrence last year. It could have also been he didn’t trust the o line and was watching pass rush too much, but that’s still somewhat on him.

I don't get the hate for Max he gave it everything he had under some very bad times. He transferred out just like alot of others do in college now. Good luck to him in future except when he plays us.

I wonder how good he could be with a competent coaching staff and half arse O Line. He had neither last year and still threw 27 touchdowns.

A first year starter missed some passes on the road in the SEC? Shocking!

I’m just glad I don’t have to watch a left handed QB for LSU. I can’t stand to watch lefty QBs

A lot of A&M fans can’t wait to see Max in pads.
