re: Can LSU Sweep Auburn?

Posted by searcyagent on 4/24/24 at 4:29 pm
Have to get to 13-17 somehow, some way. To get to 8 more wins we'll have to go 2-1 in each series or sweep a team or two in case we don't take 2 of 3 from aTm. ...
The back half of the schedule is sub .500. If LSU can go 10-7 from here on out, they'll make the tournament. Maybe they'll pull an ole miss and heat up at the right time. ...

Regardless of their sport....

Gimme your top 20 Tiger male athletes based on their contributions to LSU, individual accolades, name recognition, and pro career. My attempt at it: 1) Maravich 2) Shaq 3) Billy Cannon 4) Joe Burrow 5) Chris Jackson 6) Kevin Faulk 7) Tyrann Mathieu 8) Patrick Peterson 9) Ben McDonald ...
I respect your opinion. I had one son that would never do it and one that would get in your head. Same gene pool. The "trash talking son" once told me when I coached him during a basketball game timeout, "Dad, how much will you give me if I can get that hothead kid on the other team ejected" I re...
My fave was Larry Bird, when he walked into the locker room just before the All-Star 3 point shooting contest announced: "Which one of you sorry em-effers is gonna finish second?" Keep in mind, that wasn't even a game. Trash talking (especially in basketball) has been around even before Charli...
She's gonna have to get sixty to win this one. ...
Shocked Eddie? If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more shocked than I'd be if that happened. ...
Really, really bad base running. ...
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing. I wasn't sure about MM at first, but I, like most people, am guilty of instant gratification. He's trending in the right direction. Needs to keep recruiting. Good players sure do make a coach look better. ...

WW's buyout at McNeese

Posted by searcyagent on 2/7/24 at 5:15 pm
I know he's not coming back to LSU, but I don't see him in Lake Charles next year either. His buyout is only $1.25 mill this season and "only" $1 million after next. ...

Ohio State clearly had bigger, stronger, faster players overall. The 3rd string QB was a factor, but there's no way THE Ohio State University shoulda only scored 3 on that defense. Kudos to Miz...zou....

The thing is.... while you have a general idea of who's gonna be strong, it's baseball and NOBODY KNOWS! Good Lord, these guys spend half their time trying to discredit LSU. The main clown doesn't even have em in his "Top 5". ...
