Bama wasn’t a good trip when we beat them 6-3. We were being pelted with stuff as soon as the game ended.

It’s a good trip. I’ve done it several times. Tuscaloosa is a cool town and the campus is nice. And the bama fans at the games aren’t like the bandwagon ones you run into elsewhere. I’d say it’s one of the better road trips in the sec.

Imagine if Alabama and Georgia were brother and sister, and had a baby. That child would be Auburn.

Excellent trip for an away game and I’ve been to almost every single venue.

I went once & saw an LSU quarterback throw some interceptions. I think a few of them were run back for touchdowns. I drank a lot that night & don’t remember much, but I do remember I swore I would never go back.

I've been to Auburn twice. The first time was 1973 as a member of Tiger Band. The experience was first rate, as there was mutual respect between Auburn and LSU. BTW, Auburn called themselves the Plainsmen back then, not Tigers.
We won the game, and as my roommate and I were walking off the field after the game, an Auburn couple came up to us and told us how much they enjoyed the LSU halftime show. The man said, "Your band is welcome here anytime, but leave those damned Tigers at home!"
The second time was 1996, otherwise known as the Barn Burner game. I was in Birmingham on business that week, and my sales rep was an Auburn alum from the late 1940s. He invited me to the game and I sat on the 49 1/2 yard line...on the Auburn side. We watched the barn burn and thought it was the opposite stands. Then we watched as the real Tigers burned the paper tigers 19-15. LSU won both times I attended games at Jordan Hare, so I have pleasant memories there.
Its a beautiful campus and the people were very friendly to me.

I found their fans to be super nice.
Campus is fine.
Campus is fine.

The town is bigger than Starkville but a lot like Starkville. There really isn’t much to it. Everyone has their own opinion but anyone who says it is awesome must have low standards for awesome.

Its a good trip, can't say a bad thing about. I would not recommend Florida if you are ever considering that trip.

Bring your own toilet paper just in case they win...

Auburn is a great college town/gameday atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

I have been to Auburn for football. Pretty campus and the people are very friendly. When I make a list of the top SEC schools as far as being friendliest and least obnoxious to the visitors I would put them second only to Texas A&M. And believe me, as you go down that list the ratings plunge from there.

Went in 00, 02, 04, 06, 08, and 12. One of the best road trips in the sec. Great campus, tailgating, fans, and strip of restaurants and bars.

And traffic in and out is a breeze compared to Tiger Stadium.

There’s like 1 road in and out. The traffic sucks if you leave right after the game.

That was Jamie Howard. Walker’s dad.
