Other than being “escorted” to the stadium by a corn dog on a string, it was okay. Fans weren’t too obnoxious. However, they were riding high with Cam Newton, so there’s that.

Not a big fan of the place.

Bama wasn’t a good trip when we beat them 6-3. We were being pelted with stuff as soon as the game ended

Oddly, Bama fans treated us better than at any other venue. Pains me to say it, as I hate Bama with every fiber of my being. Worst treatment? Kentucky, and it’s not even close. It was the triple overtime game. You would think they would be gracious in victory. The nastiness continued until we drove off campus.

Went there for first time last year and I’m 40! Great experience you gotta check out the bison burger at the hound while you’re there

Auburn is great. Think Oxford but bigger. When LSU walked it off in 2018 I had auburn students walk up and shake my hand saying good game. That is rare.

Literally sitting on campus right now. Nice town and very underrated football atmosphere

Brought the wife and kids. Had a great time and gave them a feel of an away game without people cursing and throwing trash at us. Also had good experience at ole miss, miss state, and bama.

Sounds like I need to take a trip to a game at Auburn. Great people, tailgating, and atmosphere, along with pretty high chances that you’ll see one of the better college football games of the season.

Went in 2015 and had a solid time besides the game which was the one where we thought dj Chark scored to win it at the end but then they said we didn’t get the snap off. Then after the game toomers caught on fire and they assumed it was lsu fans so we caught hell walking the strip. Ended up just posting up at an empty sushi bar and drowning in Saki bombs so we didn’t have to deal with the bullshite

Sounds like a good time. I live in the next state over, so I'll pull the trigger.

Been many times. It is probably the least vicious fan base in the conference. Ironically, it is the only place i have ever had my car vandalized. Car was keyed and LSU plate bent in half. It was after Cole Tracy broke their hearts, so I couldn’t even be mad.

I have a Georgia plate, that's practically Auburn anyway. But to be safe, I won't put any LSU stuff on.

With the disclaimer that both times were in the 90s, was my favorite SEC road-trip. Great gameday atmosphere, but minus the nastiness to opposing fans that we like to dish out.

Anybody here that went to the 04 game recall an 18 wheeler on fire along the hillside of the interstate on the drive home?

It lit up the night sky for miles
