I do love my job. I can prove it. I average 3300 hours a year over the last 5 years. I travel about 3-4 months a year in 2-3 week stints. It’s not bad on the relationship at home and really enjoy what I do as a Controls technician on automation equipment that we make OEM.

I used to love my job more before I kept getting more and more responsibilities. Before I just worked one or two projects at a time and could just do my own thing. Now I have 30 people on my team and budgets to worry about and I spent like 30 hours a week on meetings. I still love my team and the type of work we do, but I definitely don't love the job any more.
That said, if I won the lottery, I would continue working there, but I would probably just 1099 myself and work maybe like 25% as hard for less money. If I didn't have this job, I would probably get bored and end up back into it again anyway.

Me. I absolutely love what I do. I have two jobs. Love em both. Might quit one to focus on the other but I can do both till I’m too old to work.

I grinded for 20+ years to finally get the job I have right now. It’s federal, I get paid a lot to just simply do my job with no profit margins or deadlines.
I came from nothing and now my son starts a private Christian college, playing baseball tomorrow. So yea, I not only earned this job but I’m very appreciative and grateful for it. Hard work pays off.
Honestly, if I won the lottery of course I’d be gone but either way I’ve won.

I do love my profession and get two to three gigs a year, so always work with different people and often in other places. And generally only work 10 months a year.

I’ve never found anyone willing to pay me to ride jet skis and dirt bikes so yes this saying is bullshite.

I used to love my job, then my boss passed away. Now…not so much.

When I get paid to speak its NOT work.
I did HOT SHOT for 9 years and I loved it. Just got burned out putting 110,000 miles a year on my truck. But I love to travel and I got to spend some time in some places I normally would go.
Spent the night in Selma, AL, Lenoir City, TN and Salem, VA to name a few.
My goal was to publish my book and speak full-time, but Covid fricked that up.

For now...me.
A lottery win would equal a quick retirement though.

If I won a billion minus taxes, yeah, I'm keeping most of it, but a decent chunk is going into my business. I couldn't just walk away, at least not right away.

I use to love my job. Hate it now. So much stuff coming at me everyday my brain feels like scrambled eggs.

Love mine, hate the admin, bureaucracy and red tape that gets in the way of doing it. If I won 3b I'd volunteer and run a few projects.

I neither lover nor hate my job.
But I have done right by them for a long time and they have treated me well for for a long time. So if I won the lottery I would not leave them in a lurch. I’d give six months notice and make sure they were in a good place before I left.

It’s not about loving your job. For me it’s more about the people I’m around.

I do, work for the best boss in the world…..myself.

I’ve loved my job at times in my career. It’s really the best career choice for me. However, I loathe my job and have for several years.

HATE my job.
It is what it is since I never found anything I'm passionate about unfortunately, and I get paid well, but it's boring and I get nothing but headaches from my bosses, co-workers, and customers. Definitely not worth it.

I’d go part time and smoke weed. But not to a fault. I actually enjoy playing with the largest erector set known to man. It’s pretty damn cool having a couple of the largest cranes in NA opposite each other and your biggest concern is them not crossing swords.
