Anyone ever use Beaches of Normandy Tours company for D-day site tours? Having trouble finding reviews for this particular company. Thanks.

I haven't. Just FYI - be very careful, our guide spoke very broken english and it was very hard to understand. If you're doing a tour, well worth the money to make sure you have a fluent english speaker. We missed out on a lot because of the language barrier.
Regardless, you'll have an incredible trip. Would go back tomorrow if I could.

How dare people in France be French!

I don't recognize that one, but a lot of the names are similar. When we went for the 75th I had to get referrals from a bunch of them because everyone was completely booked out. Some are with companies, some are individuals.
If you want I can send you all the referrals I got. It was 2019 so some might be dated. They're all for private tours if that's what you're looking for.

Overloard Tours. Its a favorite here. Based on Travel board rec, we went last month. I will also recommend moving forward.

We hired a private tour guide for our group of six and he did a fantastic job. It ended up being cheaper than doing a non-private group tour with other companies in the area.

We used overland and it was great. Also stay in the town of bayeux (sp). It’s a great little town

Have not used them but the WWII museum has some options.

I haven't used them but I picked up a tour from the museum in Caen. It was a small group of all Americans in a van. The guide was a young French guy who had spent time in the US.

Overlord Tours is what I used July 2018 and it was very good. Spend a couple days in Normandy to get a great feel for the place.

What do you recommend after Normandy? I'm starting some very early planning and have gone back and forth about a guided tour through European Theater sites or a self guided 7 day tour.

Does WWI interest you at all? We rented a car and drove the Remembrance Trail highlighting the Battle of the Somme.
Although a completely different era, I also recommend seeing the Bayeux tapestry in Bayeux for the Battle of Hastings.
