when communities decide to not hold people accountable or ticket folks for it, and allow it to happen - it is going to be bad

You’d think people would drive more conservatively with gas prices so high but nope.
The faster you drive, the quicker you get to your destination, you have less chance to run out of fuel: ergo you saved gas DUMMY.

Definitely an increase in stupid fricking assholes driving
Blocking intersections instead of leaving a gap
People that "wave thru" people making right hand turns that have a red light, thereby fricking people that have the green light
Stupid fricking people in tiny cars that see a 6,000 pound pickup and think... I'll just turn right here in front of that
Trying to turn left thru rush hour type traffic instead of exiting where there is a light (and blocking people behind them)
Mattress on the roof of a civic. One string. Mattress riding 6 inches from roof like a parachute.
Women and foreigners that can't judge distance for shite... 17 point turns, leaving 2 car lengths in front of them, fricking people behind them
People that pull up to the first pump instead of pulling thru
People that leave their car at the pump while running in to get their scratch-offs
People that see "keep moving" signs and... stop
People that ignore gore lines and immediately veer into traffic to pass people on on-ramps
People that cluelessly drive 10-20mph below traffic speeds in left lanes
People that speed up when being overtaken... by as much as 10-15mph
People that don't understand 4-way stops
People that can't figure out roundabouts
People that can't figure out roundabouts

Man if you worked remote, you wouldn’t have to deal with any of that.

Not really but I don't live in a heavy carjacking area
I don't either but have noticed traffic lights and stops signs have become a suggestion in even rural areas where I live.
Like not middle of the night no other vehicles anywhere, I'm talking normal daily traffic, cars slamming brakes not to hit the offender.

You should see the idiots that do this in front of an 80,000lb rig

I do get over if I see someone coming up behind me tho and I'm normally rolling 5-10 over

see a lot of cars driving around with 1 or no headlights, broken tail lights, running red lights, missing license tags
My pet peeves are people who don't upkeep their vehicles. Likely because I'm from a commercial driving background and we would get pulled over for inspections regularly and any light not working regardless if it was a headlight, tail light or just some kind of light for decoration, it better work or it's a fine.
Sure wish they would enforce the rules the same for the general public

I've been seeing plenty of cars with no license plates/temp tags for years. It amazes me how frequent it is.
Lately what I've been seeing more of is people using the shoulder to pass traffic. I saw it just this morning on I-10 in fact in the corridor between Hwy 73 and Highland, some truck spent half that corridor on the right shoulder passing up everyone in the right lane. I secretly hope someone tries to do that and pops a tire on the grooves or gets to the point where he can't get out the exit lane and is forced to exit when he doesn't want to, people only learn lessons the hard way these days.

Whenever I run through an intersection as the light turns red, I tap the center of my steering wheel and sing the notes from Dixie like the Duke boys’ General Lee did when it jumped the crick. It’s a hoot!

Those same assholes driving used Honda Accords and Nissan Altima’s, weaving in and out of traffic are the ones paying $5-$10 of gas in cash because they can’t afford to fill up their tanks like normal people.

Yes, lots of road rage shootings on the interstate. People are driving faster and regularly run red lights and stop signs.

Elysian Fields near UNO is bad with people running stop signs and lights.

Really? How many were there 2 - 3 years ago compared to today?

I almost hit a lady going wrong way on traffic circle yesterday lol. It was 2 of us versus 1 of her but we helped her

Absolutely, running of red lights, not yellow that changed, I'm talking it turned red and people fly through it. Pretty common to see that every time I drive.
There are times I’ll feel guilty cutting it close if not a touch late - and then 2-3 cars behind me coast on through
There are two intersections on my commute that I see accidents from “suggested red lights” incredibly regularly. Not even late, just ignoring them completely crossing a multi lane road.
Folks stopping in all kinds of ridiculous places to pick up//drop off. Heaven forbid you go 100 yards up to a wide open spot instead of the middle of traffic.
The other day I was counting paper/missing plates vs real for a drive and it was more than 50% not legit plates. I know we aren’t in a city where most people got a new car the last 30 days
It’s a mess.

Last week I was on Perkins at a red light that had just turned green. None of the traffic was able to move because a very confident lady pulled out of KFC and forced all traffic to stop as she crossed all lanes and then forced traffic headed in the other direction to stop for her, ignoring the horns blaring at her. It's as if certain people are used to being rewarded for selfish, aggressive behavior.
