Because so far Joe Burrow seems to get more powerful when pressure is applied.

What do you mean "so many people?"
The whole damn world outside of this board and Cincinnati thinks the Rams will roll.
But that's not enough for people like the OP, nah you have to shite on people's optimism here because you're that miserable.

This year is different. Rams coach is as good as Bengals.

Yet Patrick Mahomes, Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl MVP, couldn't make ONE play for an ENTIRE second half.
It wasn't because he forgot how to play football. And anyone thinking Bengals know how to make 2nd half adjustments, is just being cute. They don't have time for it.
Anyone betting on Matt Stafford to win the SB is lighting money on fire. He'll throw an INT or 2.
Burrow is winning the SB. It's not because Bengals are better. They aren't but the best team doesn't always win.

People think Joe vs. Rams will be the 2nd installation of Tom Brady beat Rams in 2001.
This game has zero to do with a Super Bowl from 20 years ago.
This isn’t the 80’s-90’s where the NFC produced superior champs (Dallas, SF, Washington, New York). It should be a good game, and the Bengals knocked off the 1 and 2 seed on the road. They’ve proven they belong.

The Bengals have an '07 Giants vibe about them. People keep saying they shouldn't be here yet here they are. All of the pressure is on LA. They bet their future on this season. After coming back from 21-3 on the road against KC, I wouldn't bet against them either.

You may be a Michigan fan, but there’s no way that you went to Michigan with this grammar and syntax. My eyes hurt now.

2001 version of Rams's coach Mike Martz is a pass-happy coach. He has the best running back Marshall Faulk. But he still calls passing in every down.
in 2001, Patriots has the best corner back Ty Law. Also in the play off and super bowl, NFL does not call that many pass interfaces.
So in 2001, you got a team with pass happy coach against a team that committed pass-interference on every play.
That is how 2001 Rams lost the super-bowl.
This year is different. Rams coach is as good as Bengals.

The game will not be close. Bengals will score late to make the score respectful.
The final score will be like 30:20

Bengals are one of the worst teams to ever make the super bowl per DVOA
That’s why Joe is such a legend. The Bengals aren’t a Super Bowl quality team, except that they have #9.

I don’t know too many people who thought the Bengals could keep it within 7 with the Chiefs yet here we are.

I agree. I think Rams win. I vase this only on the DL against the Cinn OL.
That flips if Stafford loses the turnover battle

When you have a winner you simply don’t bet against them. Brady has taught me that lesson over the years. Burrow has those same characteristics. Do I believe the Rams have the better team? Yes. Do I think the Bengals O-Line will get shredded by the Rams defense? Yes. Do I believe the Rams win the Super Bowl? No. Simply because they don’t have a winner like Burrow.

I wouldnt bet against joe burrow in general. Some people are natural winners, and Joe is one of them.

The Rams are getting 53% of the bets (total money wagered) to cover the spread at -4.5.
The reason the betting is somewhat even between the two teams is that the Bengals are getting 75% of the bets on the moneyline...go figure...
The Rams are a crappy payout at -200 while the Bengals have jumped to +165.
If the odds were -3.0 Rams and a closer moneyline, the Rams would be dominating the betting. In fact the reason the line jumped to -4.5 and the moneyline plummeted for the Rams was because so much big money was being put on them.
