So you've worked hard, are now financially secure and healthy as the average bear. It's not good to just sit around. You don't want to "work". What do you do with yourself???

I have a cattle farm and a bunch of toys. I fish 3-5 days a week. I do metal fabrication projects. I do woodworking projects. I am "allowed" to do anything I want while my wife's at work.

When she's not at work, we do things together like take jet skis and the 5th wheel to the lake or travel.

And smoke a whole bunch of weed while doing it.

Golf will be the bulk of it.
Travel some.
Chess.
Study investments.
Maybe volunteer in some capacity related to golf.
Pickleball.
Read.
Walk.
Maybe do some part time work.

Been retired 11 years, we travel a lot to see kids, spend 2-3 weeks a year at the beach, Meet with friends for lunch several times a week, have endless projects that I am either planning, getting materials for or working on. Have several hobbies that take a lot of time. Even thought I retired at 56 I am starting to worry that I may not have time to do everything I want to do.

I still have to work as long as I've been alive. Unless something very fortunate happens I'll be lucky if the US is still here when my "retirement" age hits

I plan to continue what I like doing now. Being married, reading, and teaching Sunday School. When I’m not doing that, I hope to travel, enjoy peaceful mornings, and time with family.

I've got 15 years left, but I promise you I will find something to enjoy in retirement.
I've met a few folks that say they don't want to retire because they might get bored. Fck that.
