I did not test, but was at a Christmas function, the Wednesday before Christmas, of whom 3 people there tested positive. I started feeling it Christmas night. I had body aches, fever, headache and chills. I controlled my fever and headache with Tylenol and ibuprofen. I’m almost 3 days in, and really just a bit fatigued and weak at this point. Never vaccinated. First time with Covid.

Sore throat on Christmas turned into brain fog, congestion and body aches for the two days after. Bad congestion today but otherwise no symptoms. Second time getting it since last March.

Same symptoms as mine, I had minimal sinus issues. Just aches, fatigue, fever and a headache. Lasted only a day and a half as well

Christmas Eve started to have bad back pain for no reason. Woke up in the middle of the night fricking drenched in sweat. Christmas night fever spiked to 102 and felt very similar to the flu. Fever started to break Sunday and haven’t had any Monday or Tuesday. Now just have a sore throat and some fatigue. Back at 80-85% strength

I had the sniffles a couple weeks ago. Pretty sure it was Omicron. I bought a box of tissues and took Mucinex for a few days.

Pandemic is over. Deal with it.

Tested positive today. Yesterday felt like I had the flu. Bad muscle aches and fever. Today I had some aches. More of a light head cold. Before I got results, I took cold meds and they made me feel a lot better. One of my kids tested positive. She has 0 symptoms.

Me and the gf are dealing with it now. For me, fever chills and a sore throat. I’m unvaccinated. For her, cold sweats, cough, sore throat, and fever

Record 312k cases today, and this is just start of this wave. Not anywhere near over. Some younger healthy people in this thread are listing some pretty bad symptoms, imagine whats it’s doing for the older and heavier set crowd.

Sore adenoids Thursday
Achy and full congestion Friday
Sore throat and developing cough saturday
Couldn’t breathe or stop coughing Sunday
Back to like 95% on Monday
Fine today

I’d mention neti potting with iodine like the doc said on JRE, but y’all will keep shitting on me.

1% of the us population tested positive today. That’s crazy. Safe to say 1 in 20 people is currently infected.

Potato Joe said he was going to shut down the virus

Talked to buddy in Baldwin County. At his place, Sunday about 50 test or so 7 positive for covid 7 for flu. Monday, 40 something positive covid’s 40 something flus, out of 150 something test and a bunch of staff now sick as well. That’s a huge increase. This shite is ridiculously contagious and spreads exponentially. The damn flu this year is about as bad as they missed bad with vaccine.

Then there is this stomach flu like thing hitting everyone. (I am still trying to shake it, has it almost a damn week.)

I got that stomach flu a couple weeks ago. Pretty much non stop diarrhea for 3 days. Thankfully I tested negative for Covid. It took me about a week to feel better.

First day of real symptoms felt like the flu coming on. Chills and shite. Joints hurt. Skin hurt. Fever that night. Sinuses and cough. Woke up next day feeling normal except same sinuses and cough. Have felt fine since except still nasaly with an occasional cough. Tested positive 4 days after first symptoms. Just a pain not going to the store and shite like I normally would. Other than that, business as usual.

I got this stomach bug two weeks ago also. I had it for 36 hours but for about 16 hours I thought I was going to visit the ER. I’ve never had a stomach virus which included pain in the abdomen - thought I was suffering from gallstones. Also had a few hours of fever too.

That would be .1%

330,000,000 x .001 = 330,000

The biggest pandemic since March 2020 has been the OT’s inability to calculate percentages.
