50/50 shot the entire family got the cartoon disease last week, I wasn't about to waste time getting tested and it never was anything worse than a cold, could have been an old fashioned cold but those don't exist anymore.

Wife tested positive last night. 2 separate tests to confirm. I was negative last night.

Today both of us running 103+ temps, achey as hell, chills, etc... I think I have it now but we used up the tests we hade and none are available around here.

Not even going to test so can’t even be 100% I have omicron but I usually never get normal colds. My only sick leave is usually from hangovers.

Wait long enough and everyone on this damn board will have a comment. It’s exploding over here with the damn flu

Full blown flu like illness first day. Rigors and all. Second and third day super tired but couldn’t get more than a couple hours of sleep at a time. Fourth and fifth day a little better. 6th day about back to normal. L

This go round had a more lingering and annoying fever, 2 days off and on, way less congestion, dry cough for a day and a half. No vax.

Khartoum, 1974. I hadn't laid eyes on a woman for 144 days prior to my arrival the night before. There was talk of a house of ill repute... you didn't have to ask me twice. Her name was Jameela and she smel... oh, omicron experiences. I thought you said something else.

Probably Delta, not Omicron

Lifted 480 per squat before I caught Omicron on 12/15; now lift 515 per squat. One of the three best things to happen to me this year.

Six people at my husband's job tested positive. He's negative and working from home. We had delta in August.

Last week he had a runny nose and sniffles- now the entire office is sick. He's always running back and forth to parents' home- and his nieces' kids are always there. He may have just had a cold, but who really knows? I never caught anything, but I am taking vitamins like crazy.

I had Covid in November 2020. Fever for a day and felt like shite for about 3 days after. Got both shots in August. Just got it again last week. Congestion was my only symptom if you even want to call it that. Wouldn’t have even gotten tested if it weren’t for my sister testing positive. She had a fever for a couple of days. She has had the booster

Very similar experience as yours. Started feeling it Christmas Eve. Christmas Day I felt poor and by that night it was full blown flu body aches, fever and chills. Every day since has been considerably better and manageable. Tested at home. Never vaccinated. First time with Covid.

Neighbor couple had it last week. Both double vaxxed. Husband sick as a dog, wife just had sniffles.

Wife and I both had last week. High temps only last 36 hrs. Start feeling better after that.

I tested negative flu, positive Cov. It seems it clears up quicker than the flu.
