It was a long shot to get him back this year anyway and he would have been very rusty regardless.
When he got hurt the thought was he might be ready by the Auburn game. It definitely wasn't considered an out for the season injury. Him not getting started on the season was likely by choice too.

Because there’s a big difference between transferring because you don’t see a path to starting vs. transferring when you are already the starter.
I don’t know why this is so hard to understand. You’re comparing a guy who entered the transfer portal at the end of his 5th year at LSU to starters entering the transfer portal in their second year, or freshmen entering the transfer portal.
If you don’t see the difference, it’s because you don’t want to see it.

Would love to have Myles back. Ricks and Stingly were guaranteed starters from the beginning, but instead of embracing the team concept , they have been looking for an easy way out since day one. If can’t see the difference, it’s because you don’t want to.
