Here is my stab:

1. Texas A&M
2. Texas Tech
3. Houston
4. Baylor
5. SMU
6. TCU
7. Texas
8. UTEP
9. Rice
10. North Texas

I think it is hilarious that the 7th best team in Texas is the cause for such turmoil in college athletics...

That's pretty close to how it is this year.

This is a ridiculous ranking, imo.

1) Texas A&M
2) Texas Tech
3) Baylor
4) Texas
5) TCU
6) SMU
7) Houston
8) Rice
9) UTEP - you must have forgotten about them
10)North Texas

I think it is hilarious that you have Texas ranked below a bunch of teams that they haven't played yet.

9a. UTEP
9b. North Texas

truth, including the one I posted. I just find it hard to believe that Texas will lose to Baylor.

This is true, but Alabama lost to ULM at one point. Records of past seasons have no bearing on the current season. OU hadn't lost at home since 2006. Texas is better than they were last year by a lot.

of course, but you said you have a hard time believing that Baylor can beat Texas...well, it can't be because Baylor hasn't beaten Texas lately....

TCU is improving a lot from where they were with 2/3rds of the team being freshmen and sophomores. If they played Baylor and SMU right now, the outcomes would be much different. Especially Baylor, because a lot of our players were starting or seeing a college field for the first time ever, and it was against a senior-heavy team, but it was still close. SMU played a hell of a game against us and is also young though. If not for 3 bad flags all on third down plays that otherwise would've resulted in an SMU punt, SMU would've had 17 fewer points on the board.

Baylor beat them IN AUSTIN just last year--the teams have hardly changed! texas barely has a QB and needed trickery to squeak out a 1 point win over a terrible BYU team.

Holy frick your opinion of texas is retarded. There are precious few bright spots on the gridiron for mack brown's boys this year.

Their play on the field, did you watch any of their games last or watch any of their games this year? They are a much better team. They have an actual run game for the first time since Jamaal Charles.

I see wins over Rice, Iowa State, UCLA and BYU...which win is supposed to impress me the most?
