I think Kiffin should get the Minnesota job. He would be a good fit. He went to high school there and the present regime of Kill/Claeys is only good for 8 wins a season and they have a new stadium and are building a new athletes village.

If LSU beats Alabama this will definitely speed up Kiffin exit from Bama to his next coaching position. I am sure he will land safely with a cushy head coaching job somewhere.

What exactly has Lane done as a HC to make someone think he would be a success? Land some good recruiting classes?

He can defy gravity. He can actually fall upwards.

His record doesn't exactly mesh with those recruiting stars.

Lane Kiffin to Miami. He brings Cristobal with him. Then makes a call to Coach O.
that woudl be some serious recruiting. i think cristobal would be more likely to be the next head coach of miami than kiffin. hes an alumni and was inexplicably fired from hi last head coaching job where he had single handedly taken FIU and made them respectable. Hes a young guy at 45, lights out recruiter. not the greatest oline coach, but his years with saban should help him run his next program well.

You forget he was under harsh scholarship limitations at USC.

He should definitely be considered for the Miami job.

Kiffin and Fisher could have a yearly competition to see who can have more players get arrested.

What does Kiffin have to do to prove he's not HC material? He's a pretty good OC/Playcaller, but there's so much more to being a HC than calling plays. He pretty much sucks at everything else.

Every place he's ever been has been happy to see him leave. Baffles me that people are still wanting him as a HC.

after Shapiro mess I cant see Kiffen getting hired by Miami.

Miami probably wants to avoid any potential land mines.

and yet that's exactly the risk they need to take in order to be relevant again.

Even with Shalala gone, they won't take the necessary steps and investments in the program though

Kiffin to Miami would be perfect. They both think they are way better than they actually are. The scandals would also be fantastic.

Yes. The honeymoon in Bama is over anyways. Saban will highly recommend him.

Honestly, he wasn't a great OC last season and he's marginal at best this season too. He's not bad and could excel at a school with less talent.. but with that defense on the field you could do a lot better than Kiffin.

...an offense like Stanford runs fits better.
