I think publishing a crap article like that actually increases the psychology of Nick leaving.

The ruling factor in our lives is the FAMILIAR. We keep seeking it our consciously and unconsciously whether we like it or not, and it is encountering the familiar which gives in reality or in actuality a sense of homeostasis. What is the familiar for Saban? Going to a new place, building it up and moving on to the next place. Staying in one place would be very unfamiliar for him, so from a psychological perspective taking the Texas job matches his history better.

Having said that, I have no idea what he will do. I hope he goes to Texas. If it were his decision alone I'd say he's going. But there's his wife Terry to consider. I imagine she has much more of a say as to whether they stay or go than most people realize.

There's no real reason to go to Texas. Yes Austin trumps Tuscaloosa by a wide margin, but career wise, what does it really prove if he can win at Texas? We know he can.
If he wants to really prove something professionally, win a superbowl or win a national title with a P5 mid-major or a non P5 team.
