Why LSU has a shot at Jimbo

UGA was able to poach Pruitt for $800,000 and conference prestige. Now, I understand Pruitt may have had other things working against him, but FSU didn't go out and make a slam dunk hire. They went cheap.

Meanwhile, LSU has paid over $1,000,000 for coordinators for the better part of a decade. After the most tumultuous LSU season since 2000, LSU committed over $1.2 million to acquire one of the best young defensive minds in the game. Jimbo knows he can coach championship offense. That, combined with a pay raise for himself will have Jimbo listening seriously.
