I don't think Miles could bolt on us after the way he hyped our team up by using what Saban did as fuel.

See that's the thing that makes everyone kinda crazy here. The idea that Michigan thinks the mere offer is enough for a top end coach to go flying off to Michigan. It doesn't work like that anymore.

I think it does for Les. Look, he wanted the job...bad. Atmosphere/politics aren't right for him and evidently the people in power to make the hire didn't want him. Powerful alumni, former players and a good portion of the fanbase do want him if we're to believe the DFP, Rivals, etc. If UM does the things Teke mentioned on a previous post, an aggressive late push for Les may happen. I don't think the requisite house cleaning can be done quickly enough though and would be absolutely stunned if Les got hired by Big Blue.

Talking heads at ESPN had nothing to talk about so they brought it up. Miles is not going to Michigan next year

Miles is not tied up. The buyout is the same. He just extended his current contract a few years. No biggie.

The Rutgers coach was offered the job and turned it down.

Miles is not going to eat anyones sloppy seconds.

I don't think we will get Les because of to much politics on Big Blue's side F-Carr). But if we listen to ESPN Miles and Tenuta would already be in Ann Arbor.

From doing some reading, there seems to be a perception that Carr and David Brandon are doing the search for Martin and if that's the case, he probably wasn't offered the job.

This seems to be the case but if MSC has now entered the coaching search things could get serious about Miles.
