Why dont many people bring up DC Ellis Johnson?

from South Carolina??? He had a great D this year, in his first year with USC, after he came over from MSU, where they completely regressed without him this year... Granted MSU's entire team sucked this year but last year their D got to be pretty descent even with subpar talent.

Not every coach wants to coach at LSU. Also, some coaches are actually happy where they are. But you are right, no stone should be left unturned.

Ellis Johnson or Tyrone Nix or Charlie Strong or Dwayne Walker will be good hires. I don't think Les will contact anyone of these or atleast 3 of these potential candidates.
The reason I said "Potential Candidates" is because, given the amount of money we will pay them anybody would want to come to LSU

Because he basically has his 'dream job' at Carolina. All his ties/roots are in South Carolina, he's coached at every level there besides the NFL, and every indication is that he wants to make it his 'last job'.

Yeah, a lot of people on here don't realize that not every coach out there isn't a fan like we are. Some coaches just look at other schools as another job...weird.
