Miles departure? I thought the general consensus was that people want him gone. Last years ole miss game, this years Tennessee game? I understand he went 11-2, but where are all the people who wanted him fired before the season ended? I don't want to hear reasons such as losing our great recruiting class because we always have a good one, it will be affected whenever a coaching change occurs. I seems as is this whole board is about to shite themselves rather than jump for joy like it seemed earlier in the year

That was right after a near loss to TN and a possible 5 loss season. Now that he won 11 games who gives a shite

I'm only sweating the replacement.

If it's Patterson, I will help Miles pack and give him a sweet kiss goodbye. Tongue, no tongue, his choice.

It was never the general consensus. I bunch of juvenile Sabanistas have been back stabbing Miles ever since he got here. There was way more noise than substance.

All I have to say is do you really want Les Miles if he does not wanna be a Tiger.

Like him or not, it's the uncertainty that immediately follows.

This is what the vocal minority want everyone to think. It's not even a general consensus on this board, much less in the whole Tiger nation.

That top recruiting class isn't going to mean shite if we keep wasting talent like we have. I think a change would be good for the LSU program. Freshen up the program and continue dominance.

That was before he beat Saban.

Still wanted him fired before the season ended. Unfortunately, the season has ended. May be concerned due to timing at this point and fear of worse replacement again due to timing.

I think many were OK with Miles, but wanted Crowton gone and that has not changed.

How people want an 11-2 coach fired is beyond me.

As soon as a lot of people started realizing it's extremely difficult to get a coach with experience at this time of the year, they started sweating bullets. Especially after they remembered who our AD is.

Alot of miles haters had a change of heart after the Alabama game. Beating a team that was mostly Saban-recruited and Saban-coached provided perspective.

It is one thing to voice concern and displeasure over poor game management during the season, but that does not indicate a majority of fans wanted Miles gone. The majority want Miles to do a better job. Which he has done since the Tenn game, exceeding everone's expectations.

The biggest problem with losing Les Miles is the timing. There is, and should be, a great deal of concern regarding the replacement. Not anyone can accomplish what Les Miles has at LSU. There is just not a replacement out there that we know of who would want the LSU job and would be an upgrade to our coaching staff.

6 11 win season in all of LSU's great history. Miles has 4 of them. Unbelievable that people want to run him out of town. I mean, I really can't believe that Saban, Stoops, and Tressel wasted all the talent they had this year.

You may want to "re-math" this one.
