Rex Ryan isn't a mediocre coach though. There probably aren't even five coaches who could squeeze 7-8 wins out of that roster like he has done this year.

I'd take Rex over Rob for the Ryans, though.

Herm Edwards with his rah, rah bullshite would be a good college coach if he could recruit well.

Or to draft one with the capability of being a good NFL quarterback... Didn't he draft Mark Sanchez? It was complete desperation to draft Geno Smith, he just isn't a starting NFL quarterback.

I don't know, I just view him as a mediocre head coach, but a great defensive coordinator. Will Muschamp, Gene Chizik, Ellis Johnson, etc...know what it's like.
