regardless how it happened it definitely was not the proper time to bother him. The guy should be happy Miles was nice enough to even stop to take the picture

I know that guy went to high school with him. He's actually not a bad dude, sounds like he just got caught up in the moment, he just bought into the business about a year ago and I know he's been working his tail off promoting the place and trying to get it off the ground.
Not trying to make excuses for him, definately not a smart move and I'm afraid it's gonna hurt business. As a young business man your gonna make mistakes and this was one of those times.

serving burnt chicken is a mistake, showing the security tapes and the signed receipt of a paying customer to a tv reporter borders on criminal

am i missing something? did anybody see anything on the receipt? could you make out a name or even what cathy tipped? the answer is no. yall are a bunch of idiots. i personally think it was free advertising. first story at 10:00, cant beat that. as far as anybody saying anything about the owner personally, you are also an idiot. ive known him since the day he was born and he's a better man than any of you clowns posting on here. if les or cathy wanted more privacy, then they wouldnt have gone to a PUBLIC PLACE RIGHT NEXT TO CAMPUS. les isnt going anywhere, he's using this as leverage to get more $$. i cant say i blame him. but to post innacurate crap about an LSU grad is simply absurd. as far as the idiot that says this was borderline criminal...dude, youre the biggest idiot on here. i will be eating lunch at voodoo again today (at least 3 times a week for me...its delicious).

then the owner put in a shameless plug for his business
I know the owners. I doubt VERY seriously they would support this action. I would not be surprised if that manager/employee is reprimanded.

Why was the receipt necessary? Eyewitness accounts would have sufficed. No it posed no danger to the Miles family, but that doesn't make it right.

the owners of VooDoo in BR are a bunch of douches. There were several brother-in-laws in business together to start. My brother-in-law was one of them. Him and my sister get back from their honeymoon and the other brother-in-laws had gotten together and kicked him out of the VooDoo business without even giving him a chance.
Bunch of spineless jerks.
I'm surprised you actually put this on here. If it were up to 2 of them, this would have not happened.

this couldnt be more idiotic. either way, it has nothing to do with the current owners, who got in on the franchise. because your brother in law was a piss poor owner doesnt have anything to do with the people that own it now.
