How trashy would it be for Texas to have already made this happen while Charlie is still coaching? I mean, what coach would want to work for a school that runs it's program like

Albright is the guy who said Charlie Strong was at the top of LSU's list. I'm about as inclined to believe what he says as I am inclined to believe that my dog's droppings cure cancer

"Hey we just fired a HC mid-season that was defensive minded - meaning he relied on his defense to win all games, to hire a HC that was fired in the same season - probably mid-season - who is a defensive minded coach that has no defense. Yeah that will float worse than a lead balloon.

You know Les was a horrible coach whenever people mistake him as a defensive minded coach whenever he was actually an offensive minded coach but you couldn't tell because the offense was horrible a majority of the time. He was just lucky LSU was willing to pay more than pretty much anybody for Defensive Coordinators.

I believe he was the the first to announce Rams to LA, Eagles/Rams trading, and Raiders to Las Vegas. So, he seems to have some solid NFL sources but not sure how that translates to college.

It would be irresponsible for a school not to be talking to potential coaches before making a move like this.

Auburn was trashed for the Petrino fiasco for years after Tubberville kept his job.

It's a terrible look for the school, but an even worse look for the coach.

Money talks i guess, but having every money guy from that alum base crawling up your arse on a daily basis would be awful. If Texas got rid of the douchey/entitled aura that surrounds the program, it would be the best looking landing spot in all of college football.

That is exactly what LSU did last year when they flirted with Jimbo while Les was still here....

Rams to LA,

Not too difficult to guess, it was always Rams to LA it was just a matter of what stadium deal they would get. I also don't think he was first one on the Raiders to Vegas bandwagon. But again not to figure out when the Raiders were scooping up every name associated with "Las Vegas Raiders"
