I know man. I just wish coaches didnt have to leave before bowl games. I understand its a business, but its unfortunate to have a coach basically have to lie to his players & everyone else about taking a new job.

Dude. He was NEVER coming to LSU. He always wanted to be at Texas. Joe knew that but gambled on Texas not making a change which was inevitable after Kansas beat Texas. How you can put this on Herman is beyond me.

So one team holds Bama to 0 for 52 min and the other loses to Kansas... He didn't take the USCe job because they lost to the Citadel last year, but besides recruiting, he's in the same situation at Texas.

As an alumnus of LSU and a Texas native, I'll just say LSU has become a complete joke in the last 3-5 years. Top to bottom, academically and athletically. Pretty embarrassing really. We're now the "cute" school in the south with the water boy coach because nobody wanted to come here. That's the cold hard truth.

Don't know what part of Tx you live in....but that is pretty incorrect. I graduated with an engineering degree, everyone I know from LSU is successful and respected in their field, and everyone has a lot of respect for our sports. The only people I ever hear getting ripped are UT and A&M.
