Expect hire to be announced arouhd the 15th maybe a few days after.
Regarding an NFL Defensive Coordinator, the average salary is 1.5 million. Gordy Rush said the fact that LSU is offering close to that amount makes it much more likely we snag an NFL guy.

Guys, they don't talk to Miles or Aleva. So all they do is read, here rumsors from slapdicks like yourselves, and speculate. They get paid to talk, so they do just that...even if it's coming out of their arse.

In my opinion, we have NO credible insiders/sports media.. that goes for the Saints too. They're all masters at throwing shite and hoping it sticks.

The average salary of college head coaches is $1.5 million, so we are clearly going to hire one of the 120ish other head coaches in college football.
The average salary of an American automobile manufaturing company financial officer is $1.5 million dollars, so we are clearly going to hire one of those guys as our next DC.
The average salary of Hollywood B-List actors is $1.5 million so we are clearly hiring Owen Wilson as our next DC

Gordy is a cool dude... Don't know why you'd say that. And he is way more connected than any local media member in Baton Rouge. He and Miles are actually pretty tight.
