After reading this board lately, the only conclusion I can come up with is that Miles isn't going to do anything about the DC situation.

I've forwarded this to his e-mail. That should take care of it.

Why does everybody think that Miles is sitting on his arse twirling his thumbs? Maybe, just maybe, Miles is one step ahead of the public.

no shite. everyone has the "see! see! he ain't doin' shite and we're gonna be stuck with Malveto!" syndrome.

Many don't understand you CANNOT install a brand new defensive scheme in 3-4 weeks. And, it absolutely could be worse (hard to believe but it could).

Les is going to make changes after the bowl game on a time line that considers the importance of this hiring decision. As some have already said, this is not anything to be knee-jerk about......besides, things are already in motion.

So is Chavis, Robinson, Bumpas and Orgeron. VK has already signed with Kansas State. Miles better move on this or they'll ALL be gone. You snooze, you lose. (Unless he's already made a double secret deal with one of them).........

I doubt Miles wanted VK. And Tenuta was an option last year too, and neither LSU nor any other team hired him as DC. There must be a reason for that. For now, I trust in Miles.

He is still employed by Notre Dame. By your rationale, that makes EVERYONE still available.

Maybe Miles has his man lined up, but that man is, indeed, coaching someone in a bowl right now. Maybe they decided to announce after the Bowl. Just like Les wished it would have happened last year.

I think a lot of people got their hopes up an announcement would have been made by now. I'm disappointed, but thinking/hoping the silence means a great hire is coming.
