bullshite, any smart coach would see that schiano is a pedo and realize he now has a fanbase 100 percent behind him

Coaches won't view it that way. If you throw a hissyfit when a coach is MAYBE hired what are you going to do when the real coach loses.

It's not about Coach Schiano, it's about Schiano the person.

Sure it might be a turn off job for coaches that are actively engaged in fricking children due to potential outcry, any other candidate sees a fanbase ecstatic that he is not an enabler of child rape and excited he's there.

I actually think this is good for UT. They avoid a bad hire.

Volunteer fanbase is more united in this reaction than I've ever seen across the spectrum. That says a LOT

A coach you desire would be leery of a fanbase cutting the ad at the knees.

No way this is good for UT on any level. It was a miscalculation by Currie, but holy shite the fanbase reaction is toxic as hell.

The entire PR handling was a joke, from leaving the fanbase hanging on Gruden, to not preparing them for what was realistic, to dropping the Schiano bomb which was unexpected.

This quite possibly could end up as bad as sanctions for the UT program. Toxic.

Alleva’s handling of his coaching hire was worse, and he was able to survive it.

No. It was bad but this Tennessee thing is now on another level. Trying to hire a coach who ignored a pedophile on staff. fricking kids in the shower man. Whole different level. Curry probably won’t survive this nor should he.

Tennessee should hire Tom Juruch and fix their damn mess. Juruch would have gotten you guys a Gruden or a Dan Mullen

Not about coach schiano but schiano the person?

Lol

If it was an established coach, one that had the fans hyped, y’all wouldn’t be protesting the hire.

Y’all doing it because of the name schiano doesn’t excite the fan base... don’t blame yall

UT fans can f off. How come it's ok for churches, politicians and charities to cover up or look the other way with pedophiles but not Greg Schiano?

He is the #2 recruiter in the nation per rivals, took Rutgers to first bowl in 100+ years and was an NFL Coach. There are results to point to. It’s him, not the results

Tennessee #Vols on every level - parents of current players, former players, current coaches, former coaches - and coaches from other programs - universally against Schiano. Never seen anything like it.
