i disagree completely. and honestly did he make the wrong call both of the other coaches one went 5-6 and the other 6-6 and according to 247 both have more talent than the lsu team this year. i wasn't a fan of the ed o hire at the beginning of the year but the way it ended i'm good with it for the time being

Despite a bad season, the UT FB program outlook is much better now than it was then. Pretty good roster, recruiting class and fertile in-state recruiting. They could likely make a pretty decent hire.
Several candidates who'd probably want the job would be better fits and hires than Schiano, even if he didn't have his pedo coverup baggage. Tee Martin, DJ Durkin, Mike Norvell, to name a few.

Alleva didn’t hire a guy who covered up child rape. Explain how Alleva’s handling was worse. And I think Alleva is an idiot.

Coaches won't view it that way. If you throw a hissyfit when a coach is MAYBE hired what are you going to do when the real coach loses.

Alleva's problem is more like one PR disaster after another. He got shown up by F_King, then he gets bullied and shown up by Foley/McIlwain/Stankey when the facts were all pro-LSU, then he flubs his second bite at the apple to replace Miles.
The guy is just a walking PR nightmare.
