Justin Jefferson just scored another touchdown on OU

Doesn't matter.
First half is over. And he only scored four. What a loser. :-)

The fact that things have progressed this far means Riley has already rejected any attempts to keep him at OU. This train has been in motion for weeks and there’s no stopping it now. Enjoy your 8 National championships because your “blue blood” status is expiring soon.

LMFR will be signing a ridiculous new contract that includes a ton of new support staff and facility upgrades.

Yeah, we already have all those things, the SEC TV money right now and the ability to recruit a top 10 class right out of our own state. Does the man really want to wait through the lawsuit your own conference is threatening to hit you with to either hold you there or make you pay up big to get out early? Then you have the years it will take to build and upgrade everything you are talking about. He can just walk in the door here and get started.

You sure could have, and if you did you’d likely be keeping your coach.

Even if this were true, we just drove up the price of football operations at Oklahoma to a point the administration is clearly not comfortable with. Welcome to the SEC way of doing things, where there are 6-7 teams with as much or more resources as OU, and they aren’t afraid to spend. Try to catch up.

You can make all the upgrades you desire, but you'll quickly find the SEC to be far more hostile than you can handle. You know, teams like LSU, Bama and Georgia, the teams you already can't beat.

I'll give you credit; there was a time when Oklahoma was more than an above average team in a dead conference, but those days are long gone. Joining the SEC just means they're gone forever.

Their blue blood card has been expired for a while now. Every big game they play in they get absolutely smacked.
