Houston will be next.

Schools with zero tradition, it's all about the administration and LSU's has to be one of the worst in the country.

Who says they have? Neither have big program head coaching experience and now one has to compete with Texas Texas A&M and Oklahoma with recruiting. It just a bunch of crybabies saying this.

We literally downgraded from the previous coach, just from a pure resume standpoint.

Based on the ability to build programs, win as a head coach and sustain success.

If you take away the fact that Ed O is from Louisiana their resumes aren't close.

Texas was a given, our administration told us we weren't on their level when they gave up before negotiation started.

Because the last coach to go from Temple to a power 5 school worked out great. Hiring an unproven mid major guy is just as risky as O.

Strong took over after a terrible 2 year stint of Kragthorpe at Louisville and turned them around. How'd he do at his big time gig?

I made a FB post about this exact thing yesterday.

Schools that have made better hires than LSU: Texas, Purdue.(just edited to add Baylor) Coming Soon: Houston, Mississippi State(this was somewhat a troll to my State friends since Mullen's name has been mentioned for Oregon.)

LSU fans would have dragged Alleva to no end if he ended up with Rhule.
