Who's going to be our next coach? Realistic answers please, no tcu or boise coaches and no saban because they seem unlikely

I am going with Gus. Reason for this wants a HC gig and will come for 2-3 mil a year. He'll leave chief alone and fix the O. We might even see RS at QB next year

If JJ can't figure out Crowton's offense after 3 yrs, what makes you think he's capable of figuring out Gus' in 1?

Gus Malzahn
Kirby Smart

NOT that I think COach Miles will leave but if he does, I'd have to think one of these 2 guys would be the best REALISTIC fit for LSU. Saban/Gruden/Patterson/etc...those guys ain't leaving where they are at, forget it. I prefer Smart over Malzahn because I like a defensive type guy at the helm.

Head coaches only, we are beyond hiring a coordinator(no offense to Muschamp-whom might be the lone exception)

No, we won't. Ever.

Mettenberger will be the QB next season, barring anything unfortunate.

The coaches at TCU and Boise arent leaving. They would be gone if they were leaving.

gus' is much simpler. In the three years he has been trying to figure on crowtons and miles.

That being said if your top two reasons for getting a guy are:

1. he is cheap

and

2. you don't trust him to make his own decisions about the staff.

then we are in serious trouble.

Am I crazy for thinking that promoting Chavis to HC might be a good idea?
