His dad is in the running for the TB Bucs job. No way Brian takes a job before that decision is made. Brian would be a shoo in for OC for his dad

What QB did he have to work with when he was with the Jets???????? Sanchez fricking sucks.

I think the fact he managed to make the now #2 QB in the NFL look average says he can't do something with a talented QB either...

You're the only one I know of that has had multiple name changes.

I can hardly remember what TT stands for, TideTradition?

I just have a hunch Koetter is going to be the OC at Bama.

Shott has already said he doesn't want to work under his dad.

I still don't buy into McCarron. I don't care what he did the other night. something went down with that LSU team and you all know it.

Yes. They got their asses beat. It went down, and it went down hard.

I could have thrown slip outs to TE's all night myself.

Yeah, you probably would have been great escaping from the pass rush like AJ was too, you stellar athlete, you.

Anyhow, we're talking about Schottenheimer and how terrible he is as a coach,

As LSU fans love to remind everybody, Saban wasn't very good in the pros, AND YET US DUMB BAMMER GUMPS STILL LIKE THE GUY!

But whatever. I realize I'm talking to a delusional Alabama fan that can't take criticism when it comes to anything related.

At this point, any LSU fan using the word "delusional" is a joke. You're a joke.

There's a surprising lack of trailer parks in Porland, Oregon. Unless, of course, you want to count the food carts.

You're right about it being our story. History is written by the victors, after all.

As a huge Jets fan (and LSU fan, see my username), I could not be happier by this news: Every LSU fan should be pulling for Bama to hire Schottenheimer. It would be like killing two birds with one stone. Bama would get an extremely predictable, stubborn, uncreative offensive coordinator who overcomplicates his passing game while stifling the growth of his quarterback, and the Jets will be ridding themselves of one.

For those who think Sanchez was the catalyst for the Jets failed offense, 75% of Jets fans will tell you the blame should be solely squared on Schottenheimer. Not one of us wanted him rehired, and it's saying a lot that almost all of us would rather have a coach who has never been an OC in his life (Sparano).

"News"? No one has been hired. Doug Nussmeier is the likely candidate at this point.
