In all fairness he does have mark Butt funmle Sanchez and Sam Mr Glass Bradford dor his QB's. Had one of the best offenses in the league with Mr Foles who just got benched in St Louis.

So id have to lean towards he knows what hes doing to make those guys look serviceable

LMAO at LSU fans pretending Chip Kelly would not be a grand slam

I don't know why, but I am shocked that there are more the 2 idiots in our fanbase that think this.

People are dumb I guess.

As posted previously, Bamas defense is built to stop the current lsu offense, not a chip Kelly offense. Itd be fun to watch.

word on the street is there's some kind of major bad blood between USC and CK from his time at Oregon.

also not sure why people insist he's a "west coast guy" considering he's from New Hampshire.

I just refer to him as west coast because he is synonymous with Oregon.

They mean he coached on the West Coast for 5 years. He recruited on the West Coast for 5 years. He has connections among West Coast high schools and junior colleges. He nabbed quite a few good recruits from under USC's nose.

"They" don't know a lot about his recruiting. He was trying to recruit nationally to fit what he wanted. Eta...yes, he obviously knows the West coast but it isn't all he knows.

He certainly knows Texas and Florida.

I'll look up past rosters.

I really don't think Chip will be fired until the Monday following the Patriots game.

If Miles is fired next Monday, there would be a week between those two dates. Would Jimbo already be offered by then?

Obviously LSU could put out feelers for Chip, but I think it's a lot harder when he's still currently coaching an NFL team.

I think Chip knows its over, doubt he waits around for the actual axe to fall. He gone as soon as someone offers

Yeah, but hopefully if there's mutual interest something can be done. If college isn't something he wants it'd be nice if we knew. I'm not holding my breath.

In the mean time this site will meltdown.

UM was able to wait out the 9ers mess because they knew they had an agreement in place. You could do the same with Kelly if you had to. Would the rantards be lighting their hair on fire waiting for this all to shake out? Yes, yes they would

but it is doable

Hopefully Strong stays at Texas and USC hires a coach before December 7th.

I obviously have my opinion about who I want LSU to get, but it would be nice if we are the premier job available and have our pick between Jimbo, Kelly, and whoever else we want to target.

Then just trust the AD, BOS, and everyone else in charge at that point.

shite I'd take that. Considering the NFL regular season ends in January that would be best case scenario.

Yeah, but UM probably didn't have the #1 class in the nation that they were trying to keep from completely unravelling.

If Kelly finishes out the season with the Eagles, I'm gonna say there's like a 1% chance he ends up as our coach.

The Patriots, even without Jules, Amendola, Dion Lewis, etc. are going to destroy the Eagles. Their defense is really turning into one of the best in the league, and Brady will still torch that Eagles D. And it's in New England.

If the Eagles lose on Thanksgiving on national TV, then get beat by 20+ against the Pats, I don't see any way he's still the coach after that.

Recruiting and keeping Wilson, Raymond and O on board would be more the most challenging aspect.

Im thinking you give O first crack at DC and throw Cameron money at him to stay. Give Frank a nice bump too. They are going to get antsy and no telling what they think about clipping Miles.

We are all Caldwell fans Thursday. They lose that one and its all she wrote for Chip in Philly.

I am keeping a positive outlook that the Shefter leak was from Chips camp and it was his way of letting us know he isnt long in Philly.
