I am keeping a positive outlook that the Shefter leak was from Chips camp and it was his way of letting us know he isnt long in Philly.

If chip wants the powers that be to know he's interested he doesn't have to use Shefter

I just am not sure they'd fire him after this week, simply because they could still be a game out of first if New York loses at Washington.

Dallas is going to win that division at 8-8 probably.

So the Eagles likely won't be "out of it" until the last week of the season.

But still, if they get embarrassed a few more times, they'll likely pull the plug. Or Chip might just Petrino it and quit.

Starting to put 2 and 2 together here. Insiders have said we'd start to see the wheels in motion on Thursday. Eagles play Thursday, maybe something breaks after they play on Thanksgiving. Chip Kelly admits he won't be the coach in Philly, then we get the announcement that Les will be coaching his last game on Saturday. Then next week it gets leaked Chip Kelly to LSU.

Or not.

Chip will stay in the NFL. He hates dealing with recruits, boosters, etc. THERE IS-100000 % Chance he goes back to college. He will be the Titans new HC.

Yeah - there aren't the same rules - the same reason Heuzinga was able to just waltz in and take Saban was it was a different organization. The NCAA has rules. The NFL has rules, but neither have rules when dealing with the other.

Kelly could say, "If LSU has a vacancy, I would really be interested in that job. But, as of now, they appear to have a head coach."

That would speak volumes. Of course the agents won't let them do that, because they have to work things out behind the scenes.

(And Chip is going to USCw, if he goes to college at all. If their season drags on, he'll certainly get a look from one or more NFL teams in the meantime.)

I am not sure where he will end up but becuase I want him as our new coach that just drop the chances significantly.

But I will address this. For those that say chip can't hack the SEC. Your not intelligent at all. Bama brought Kiffen in and he is doing great. Chip is twice maybe three times the coach lane is. Nuf sed.

Chip Kelly is the next head coach of the Tennessee Titans. Just a fact. He loves the NFL and he hates dealing with boosters, alumni, recruiting.

Like when Dinardo's LSU team whipped Saban's Michigan St. team in the '95 Indy Bowl?

The funniest thing about this is when LSU lost to Ole Miss in 2001, falling to 4-3 on the season, I remember listening to the post-game show. A caller was calling the Saban hire stupid because, "how do you go hire the coach that lost to the coach you just fired." LSU went on to be 10-3, SEC and Sugar Bowl Champs. Ahh... vintage LSU fandom.

Problem is that if Chip is out, it likely won't happen until after the regular season. LSU can't wait that long.
