LSU hired a 34 year old Bo Rein and he was younger than Fleck is now.
Completely ignoring the fact that it was an entirely different era of college sports, Bo Rein came from a big school in a big conference. He, at the very least, would have an understanding of running a program that large and in that environment.

quote:saban had been an NFL DC under Belichick and had success on the highest level in the Big 10.
also, people said some version of this about saban and urban
Urban took over a 5-6 Moutain West team and won the Fiesta Bowl in his second year.
there are times its worth the risk to hire a coach from the north. a guy who has gone 24-21 in the MAC is not one of those times.

Proving again you lied when you said you had researched him. if that were true you would know he's much more than big pregame speeches.
and 'row the boat' is fricking stupid. im glad WMU owns the rights to that so he cant take it with him when he leaves.

So, if O loses a couple, Fisher and Herman say no, we could end up with Mora or Holgorsen?

I won't lie I'd love to see Dana's offense with Aranda's defense

Well you've already proved to have no vision whatsoever and poor analytical abilities

Are you an 18-22 year old?

Fairly young, energetic, and full of slogans?
That was Butch Jones a few years ago.

I personally think if O has trouble down the stretch and Jimbo says no, it's going to be Dana. I would rather him than Mora. I think Mora has underachieved at UCLA. I've heard that Dana has some baggage, but that wouldn't bother me as long as the man is winning.

Read Flecks wiki page... there were two really interesting things I saw.
First one...He took a job with his alma mater, Northern Illinois, and quit the day after he was hired, to become WR coach with Tampa Bay and Greg Schiano. He was an offensive assistant with Schiano at Rutgers for two years.
Second one was... He was hired as head coach by Western Michigan late in the recruiting season and immediately pulled all the scholarship offers that were already extended by the school, leaving many players without other options.
The first one makes me wonder if he has an NFL itch, and that he might be flaky enough to jump from LSU.
The second one is a huge dick move, is on par with the "processing" that Saban does, but may have been the right thing to do for Western Michigan.

Was Flecks comment on pulling the scholarships fabricated too?

If we can't land Fisher or MAYBE Herman (still not proven to me) then we might as well keep Orgeron. #3 down is a nightmare.
Smart money says that's likely where we are.
