If Saban has such a big ego, he would care how we is perceived. He wouldn't want to say "I absolutely am not going to Texas. They have a coach." and then immediately go to Texas. That would make him a snake-tongued liar. Which he is not.

If he leaves after all he is said, then I agree he has no integrity. I will be disappointed, but I will get over it, as will my university.

why would you need yet a 3rd example after he has already done this exact thing twice?

I guess it has to be YOUR school for you to understand?

Saban: 'I'm not going to be the Alabama coach'

Saban -- who has tried to denounce the story about him potentially going to Alabama numerous times in recent weeks -- again, and adamantly, denied that he's headed back to the college ranks.

"I guess I have to say it," Saban said. "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."

"I don't know how many times I've got to respond to rumor and innuendo," Saban said. "I will not be the coach at Alabama"

"He told us a couple weeks ago that he's proud to be a Dolphin and he's going to be sticking around," Dolphins quarterback Joey Harrington said. "So I take him at his word. I've taken him at his word ever since I came here. He's one of the reasons why I decided to come to Miami. And so, if he tells us he's going to say, I trust him.

1st, MSU
2nd, LSU
3rd, Miami
4th, Bama...?

Saban looked more relaxed on Gameday and was wearing tie colors of Texas

That's really - well, you have a nice imagination.

And I'm sure he's relaxed...the pressure this year from the Gump fanbase was off.

I'm not flaming here, but I remember when all of those same rumors were floating around while he was here at LSU. We didn't believe any of it either, until we saw him behind a podium in Miami.

That's not close to true. Everyone knew Saban was going to the NFL. It was just a matter of time.
