Saban and his dynasty is the reason big coaches are fleeing the SEC

We still may get a big coach, we may end up with O which would be a huge disappointment. Yet, its got to be a large consideration for head coaches considering a SEC coaching job to have to play Bama every year. I know Saban won't coach forever but I see him here 3-4 more years at least and that's enough to stall any big talent from coming to our conference.

All I'm saying is, Dynasties are bad for football, and we are seeing its effects.

If you don't want to compete against the best then I don't want you.

Can you name one coach who left the SEC because of Saban?

I agree with that, but other programs in other conferences pay big money too, and it's shown they can get to the championship game with an easier path, so if I'm a coach you have to at least consider that.

Yea, I am going to disagree here, Saban is the reason someone like Jimbo can ask for 6.5 over 10 years.

It's the SEC's fault. I wouldn't want to compete in an uneven field. They need to be unbiased.

I can't see him coaching for more than 5 years. If a coach is scared of coming to an SEC power due to one coach, he doesn't belong in it.

Saban isn't that good. Millenials are drawn to that paradise known as Tuscaloosa

And the Birmingham cartel. I think there might be some truth to that.

I've always thought it might be the real reason Urban Meyer "retired" and then conveniently, almost immediately started coaching again.

Bama fatigue. If they win again this year you'll hear this term a lot.
