Mullen not being successful? That's a dumb comment.

Mullen + Aranda with LSU talent would be some damn good football. Mullen knows how to move the football forward with any style qb.

Not first choice obviously but it's not as bad as might be the kneejerk. Just not sure he's ready for the big stage yet.

1. Petrino - character issues

Should be our top choice! Will be the only one to last longer than 4 years on this list.

Many wouldnt want Petrino, but i think he'd have us competing for national championships faster than any other prospect. Instant offense paired with an improving Defense. Not to mention sticking it to Arkansas and the rest of the SEC he has grudges against. Could be fun...

I heard that Urban Meyer was starting to have some more health issues.

I'll almost take the field against your list.

I didn't put Herman as I don't think there would be a whole lot to bitch about, but I'll add him and Shaw just for kicks.

He was not known to be a great recruiter until he came here...which proves LSU does recruit itself.

Haha, rustled Jimmies, but not this one.

Please forget Petrino. Please. A total scumbag we don't want leading LSU.
It's way to early to discuss who realistically is available and if there is mutual interest. LSU is not everyone's idea of a dream job.
Check out Chris Petersen's bio. Did nothing but win at Boise and in his third season at Washington has them in top ten. Check out his bio. Hope he gets a chance to interview to gauge if he is a possible fit.

Mullen at Mis State is more impressive than Miles at Oky State.

Yeah. Running around on your model-hot wife with sorority girls shows real personal growth.

All of you who want Bobby P can jump off a building. Look at what happened to every program he's left other than WKU. The only reason he didn't burn them to the ground was because he wasn't there long enough. EVERY other stop struggled for multiple seasons after he left. He is a cancer.

You guys had better pull for Texas this season because if Strong gets fired that's where Herman is going. Sad but true.

Fisher, Kiffin, and Stoops sound like more realistic options to me.

Said the State fan...let's look at the record.

2009 5-7
2010 9-4
2011 7-6
2012 8-5
2013 7-6
2014 10-3
2015 9-4
2016 2-2 (Beaten by a coach just fired)

Maybe for State this is good, but we expect better if we are making a change. Sorry.
you have to remember, this is at miss st. looks similar to les at Oklahoma st. you dont think mullen would have a better record than that here with this talent? not to say i want mullen, but if coaches start falling through, he might not be a bad hire

Afraid they'll ditch us in late December then come back as coach of a division rival?

You're a moron. He never "hid rape". Stop being ignorant. Read, if you're capable.

So are you going to hold the new coach to that same standard next year?
