I remember watching on close circuit tv from a large hall in the Edmund Kirby Smith dorm. The game was broadcast without sound. On their winning drive late in the game LSU was hit two or three pass interference calls which set up the winning field goal. If memory serves two were against Casanova.

The 1969 team should have played for the national championship.
Archie’s heroics at home led Ole Miss to a 26-23 win, spoiling the chance for a perfect regular season and a spot in the title tilt.
That squad led the country in rush defense, giving up a paltry 37 yds a game....

I don’t think we are going to knock OSU off their perch regardless if we take care of business.
Others responses on this thread have mentioned “maneuvering “ in the current rankings, and the last few weeks have seen a rather dramatic departure from the AP and Coaches poll.

Too many comparisons to recent greats. Simmer down now. How about for those old enough to remember Phil Simms from the Giants. Same size, leadership skills,good but not great arm and the ability to run a little.
