I mean...UH was still in town last night and LSU was as well. Presuming LSU and staff are staying an hour away in Conroe again, not a stretch that a face to face between LSU and Herman and his reps took place yesterday.

I can believe that. Jimbo is naturally the first choice. But Alleva needs something and if he's wavering and Herman is truly interested then Alleva assumablely feels that Herman must get done. He feels the pressure.

I'll take it. National titles are worth it. Then, when you are searching for your next coach, you make it known that each of your previous 3 head coaches won a national title here at LSU, and it catapulted two of them to NFL jobs. I'm certain you could attract a decent coach to step in those shoes.
