Everyone has their coaching conspiracy theory out there, so here is mine. Jimbo is coming to LSU. FSU is trying to get Tom Herman to replace him. I think both sides are trying to get their replacement coaches lined up. It was reported Herman was no longer interested in the South Carolina job.

There's an interesting take that no one has even considered.

I want Tom Herman over Jimbo, because I was never impressed with Fisher at LSU.

Thanks for your meaningless post. Jimbo will stay at FSU.

How convenient. You have to know FSU pushed this story out there.

Regarding the article, the fsu official making the claim defines special treatment as getting a lawyer. When being accused of a felony, getting a lawyer seems like a prudent move.

Ashton believes that football players got special treatment during the original investigations, in part by those investigating the allegations allowing the players to reach out to “an athletic department official who helps them get access to outside lawyers,”according to the AP.

Are you saying he's going to die in a plane crash before coaching a game?

Goes to show just how unrealistic fans expectations are.

In Jimbo's time as OC we had a top 11 offense twice and top 30 at least 1 other time. His worst was in the 60's. It won't be like Baylor or Oregon, but everyone, in every system will have an off day before you bring up the 2006 Auburn game with only 3 points.

They are retards. These morons hop on Herman who hasn't done shite yet as a head coach, yet piss on an established HC who has a laundry list of great QBs, great offense, sound fundamentals, a national championship and multiple conference championships. You've got morons saying "well he did that in the ACC" WHAT THE HELL HAS HERMAN DONE? Not a damn thing as far as a head coach but beat up on some cupcakes.

We saw what happens to Baylor and Oregon teams when they can't score enough. Minus losing most his defense and DC in one year, he has had top defenses yearly. His defense was in the top 6 for total and scoring from 2011-2013 as well as his scoring offense going from 30.6 to 39.6 to 51.6 per game and total offense went from 369.2 to 470.8 to 519.6 per game.

The funny thing I think he could do better here because people overestimate SEC defenses nowadays. These aren't the same great defenses of the past. LSU is going to be ridiculous on offense if he is the coach next year.

The one where Tom Ritter took three LSU touchdowns off the board and gifted Auburn their only TD with a phantom pass interference call?
