FootballScoop is basically a conduit by which coaches, agents, and schools try to manipulate their leverage in negotiations. Always remember this when evaluating this guy's information.

No. Others in the media have to at least answer to an editor, however lenient. This guy is basically just an unfettered mouthpiece.

YawYaw's nephew said on 247 that LSU fans don't have anything to worry about. Take it FWIW

O has consistently turned down head coaching and DC Jobs. Why would he go be DC at state?

It's been said for a while he's waiting for the right HC job.

Yea I don't see O taking this when he probably had the option to be our DC

I'm pretty sure O has said he either wants to be a DL coach or HC. He's coached the DL for 30 years and never was a DC, so I don't see why State would push him over the top. Congratulations to him on the fat raise regardless of what he decides to do.

This is a serious run at O, I am not dismissing it. O will have to turn down a coordinator position and a huge raise to stay at lsu. People I know and trust at lsu are very worried.

I'm curious if LSU will pony up the money to keep him around. Les has already broken the bank keeping Cameron and peveto here, for whatever reason

This is O after a pay raise. Our beat writer is saying he has not even interviewed and mullen has not even talked to him about the job.
