this. at no point was race ever mentioned, stated or insinuated. Maybe he thinks Gruden has more skins than Strong (which he absolutely does).

No racist but.....for all the hype everybody put on this job I have to say to somebody that doesn't have a dog in the hunt Strong does seem like a pretty underwhelming hire.

Red is pissed that he was shut out of the decision process. Finally, UT has an AD that doesn't kowtow to the big money boys. There is no defending this old man. He is apparently confused on several levels and is close to descending into Marge Schott territory. Being rich doesn't mean that you have good football sense, as Jerry Jones and Danny Snyder prove to us daily.

Charlie Strong is a successful head coach. To say Strong would be a nice position coach is, well, I don't know what that is. No he didn't mention race, but still begs the question, with a record such as he has, why is he not a good head coach.
