I like Miles but he was treated wrong in this situation. Not to mention any recruit looking at LSU has to think another season like this one and he would be gone for sure. To much uncertainty now with the program and does not look stable at all. One bad game next fall and he could be out.

Our kicker did leave 9 points off the board and the missed 2 pt. con Pretty sure that has nothing to do with Miles. Would you still post this retarded post if LSU won 30-7? Probably not. You're probably the drunk idiot that sat next to me during the game that is fricking clueless.

The issue is, LSU leaves points on the field and off the board. LSU should have been up 21-0 in the first half. Instead, they were trailing 7-6.

A bazillion 4th quarter comebacks...ever wonder why...cause our HC's approach allows other teams to hang around....we simply choose ignore this and laud the victory

Might be repeating another post but given the apparent circumstances, being

1. You couldn't land Fisher

2. You didn't have a back-up plan

You did the right thing by keeping Miles. Wish the Longhorns had kept Mack Brown when Saban (appeared to) fall through.

Your perspective is wrong. Just because Texas is shite doesn't mean anything about LSU. LSU has already proven they can withstand a sudden coaching regime change.. While they are still relevant. Now is the ideal time before it gets any worse. I don't see it getting much worse but it's also not getting better.. Therefore more of the same settling which is a waste. We are wasting talent and often winning on talent alone.

Miles is no special coach, just imagine an actual coach at LSU.. With the talent.

Alleva pussied out. LSU could still pursue at least Kelly and not have to worry over a buyout.

I'm ambivalent about all of this.

I really like Miles. I want to see him succeed. He's fun to watch, he's a great recruiter and seems like a really good man.

I'm also well aware of his short-comings. The offense, the lack of a killer-instinct against inferior opponents, the baffling time management and disjointed playcalling... it's a mess.

He's 62, 27 wins shy of LSU's all-time record, and he's faced a legitimate challenge to his position as the head coach.

I figured my comment would fly over y'all's heads...

So, you're willing to settle for "anybody but Miles"?

Be careful what you wish for. No, LSU isn't a "plug and play" job in respect to coaching. No job is.

Find a more attractive target willing to take the job, then fire Miles.

You're the one who's clueless.

He also had 6 points on the board. Against a defense as Taylor Made for LSU's offense we should have lit up that scoreboard. Add on their turnovers and this was a very disappointing night offensively. And if you say differently then there is no help for you and you have no room to call anybody else clueless.

Let's not let this get lost in the conversation. Another incident of our Ad getting out negotiated!

Look forward to you not being part of it. Good riddance.

Cant have folks around that want the program better?

Sad that you are a fan of the coach instead of the school. Your guy still has a job, and your school has losses it should not have, AGAIN.

I was shitfaced when I made this post. I definitely would have said some things differently if sober.

Sorry.

Although I still think LSU is making a massive mistake. Les is now a lame duck. He will never attract top offensive coordinators or QBs now. The Steele and Peveto hires (rehires) are disastrous.

We had a perfect send off for Les and didn't send him off. We had an opportunity to get a proven coach at a major program that is 10 years younger than Les and we blew it.

Meanwhile UGA is making Richt some figurehead, outreach position and assistant AD and nipping their slide in the bud. The parallels in the programs and coaches are too obvious to ignore.

I'll always love LSU, but this is really disappointing. It makes me not want to spend my hard earned money to travel to Lambeau next year to watch us look predictable on offense and get confused on defense.

Our offense looked as bad as ever last night. Thank god A&M has a high school run defense, a gimmick offense, and we have elite RBs.

Whats more disgusting is the apparent fact that LSU is not willing to keep up in the coaching arms race

Another reason LSU is destined to decline.

Final score last night should have been like 37-10.

Not out of the realm of possibilities to see Herman as OC and coach in waiting given Les is done in 2 years or less.
